THE ANIMAL TIMES The Destruction of the Windmill By: Squealer
Dylan Today was a rather unfortunate day for animal farm. The windmill was taken by our enemies, the humans. After what felt like ages of building and designing the humans dug a hole in the stone, placed explosives in it and that was the end of that. It all happened one day when the humans tried to invade the farm. They unfortunately had a great start. The wounded and killed many animals. We stayed in the barn and waited and watched as they blew the windmill up. But in a valiant attempt aided with the rage and fury fueled by the sight of destruction, we charged at the humans. After fighting them off guard they finally retreated. We were all still very sorrowful over the loss of our windmill. We were all very proud of our victory and Napoleon is proud of us as well. He says we should be happy that we were victorious over the humans. He says we will have to work very hard to regain the territory we have lost and we will be burying the brave animals that died defending the farm and its habitants.

Dylan Hello everybody, many things have happened this week. As you may know, the windmill was destroyed again. During the great battle many animals were killed and injured. One of these animals was our beloved boxer. His hoof was split and according to him its incredibly painful to walk on. He still however, goes on and on for Napoleon. But Napoleon isn’t quite rewarding his noble behavior yet. But we all have faith in him. We all send our best wishes to boxer and wish him the best. He refuses to stop working because of his injury. Another reason was his retirement was very close. Another update is the new of snowball. We were all very shocked when he learned that snowball was milking the cows in their sleep during the night and that he destroyed our first windmill. But we have reason to believe he is still snooping around. So keep your eyes open and if you see anything report it to the pigs immediately. That is all.
